How do we get started with Phoenix Developmental Services?

Getting started is easy. First, we will have a chat about your child’s needs. Then, we will walk you through the simple steps to begin ABA therapy in your home.

What happens during a typical therapy session?

Our therapists work one-on-one with your child using play, natural environment teaching (NET), and discrete time trials (DTT). We focus on teaching new skills and celebrating every small win in a way that feels safe and fun.

How much will I be involved in my child's services?

You are your child’s best teacher! We provide helpful parent training so you can learn tips and tools to support your child’s progress during your daily routines at home.

What does 'in-home visits' really look like?

Therapy happens right where your child is most comfortable. We come to you, which helps your child learn how to handle everyday tasks and behaviors in their own environment.

How do we decide on the therapy schedule?

We work with you to find a schedule that fits your family's life. Whether it is morning or afternoon, we aim for a consistent routine that helps your child succeed.

Does insurance cover these therapy services?

Yes, many insurance plans cover ABA therapy. Our billing team is here to help you check your benefits and explain everything before we begin any sessions.

What happens if my child has a difficult day?

Difficult days are a normal part of learning. Our therapists stay patient and calm, using proven techniques to support your child and keep them safe and feeling loved.

How will I know if my child is making progress?

We keep very close track of the new things your child learns. We meet with you often to share updates, celebrate milestones, and plan the next steps together.
